Mark’s Madhouse, Ep. 27- Black Sabbath

In honor of the legends Black Sabbath and their final tour, The End, Mark lays out an amazing hour of Sabbath. From tracks you’ll recognize immediately to ones that you likely haven’t heard in years (or at all), this show is an amazing tribute to the founders of so much music that we love. Stick around to the end for a track that was only released as a single on this tour, appropriately called “The End”. You don’t want to miss this one!

Max Wax, Vol. 49

Hard to hype a show that’s gonna go out LIVE, because you never know WHAT’s gonna happen! Tonight, we’re paying tribute to a couple of our favorite bassists who were ripped from us way too early. Then we’ll take a left turn through the fog and the heavy to explore a bunch of killer metal. We’re also paying tribute to an amazing band that we hate to see retire way too soon AND Mack’s giving away the Autographed Fox 45 album from Twin Earth Records. This one promises to be crazy!

Monuments in Ruin, Ch. 47

Roll back the clock with us tonight as we revisit the rising tide that would eventually devour main stream radio. The late 80s and early 90s were a hot bed of creativity and ground breaking song craft. The long standing impact of some of these albums and artists are still being felt today. Many of these artists unknowingly changed the landscape of music forever and carved a place in many hearts. It’s difficult to accept that we are listening as proudly 25+ years later as the day they were released upon the world. Take a trip down memory lane on Episode 47 of Monuments in Ruin!

Monuments in Ruin, Ch. 46

Tonight we test our strength with power metal, process some progressive and punk rock, hang out with some hard-core jams, revisit some ragtime tunes, try to balance out our inner being through musical tones and psych and submit to Sabbath Worship once again. Monuments in Ruin, Ch. 45 (RPM)

To celebrate our 45th episode, we speed things up this week with a 45 rpm special edition of Monuments in Ruin! It doesn’t matter if you refer to the 7 inch single as a rock ‘n’ roll standard, juke box memory, an underground passport, the friendliest way to share publicity and distribution or simply consider it to be punk rock royalty, there is no doubt that this format has and still does play a huge part in the world of music. Break out those spiders, automatic metal adapters or SX2’s because we are turning the air waves back over to one of the music worlds most loved, classic and physical representations, the 45 rpm 7 inch single!
