Heavy 90’s continued aka episode 99 is in the cloud. Death by nostalgia as we play @weareministry @nineinchnails @soundgarden @aliceinchains @megadeth White Zombie, L7 and much more.
It’s been a long day and I’m really ready to sit down and spin some choice cuts off of each of these albums for you. Look deep enough into what I’m playing and you’ll see that each of these tracks deals with what, I would say, most of us Americans have been witnessing, reading, feeling and dealing with for a while now. Today, things change… for good or for bad, but things change. F’n cheers to that!
Roll back the clock with us tonight as we revisit the rising tide that would eventually devour main stream radio. The late 80s and early 90s were a hot bed of creativity and ground breaking song craft. The long standing impact of some of these albums and artists are still being felt today. Many of these artists unknowingly changed the landscape of music forever and carved a place in many hearts. It’s difficult to accept that we are listening as proudly 25+ years later as the day they were released upon the world. Take a trip down memory lane on Episode 47 of Monuments in Ruin!
Happy Father’s Day, Trendkillers! Mack’s in the studio with a heavy show tonight… And the heavy is of several flavors. Going deep on this one, withAlter Bridge, Alice in Chains, Mark Lanegan, Graveyard, Stone Sour, Mudvayne and Blind Melon. Join in at 9PM EST, turn it up and feel something. PS… I know I’m competing with some type of basketball contest, so it’ll be up on the podcast page and iTunes Store shortly after broadcast.
If you’re in the States, we wish you a Merry Memorial Day Weekend… otherwise, get ready to rock as usual. New Max Wax coming at you in a few, with guest host Jerry of Heirloom Customs. He’s the dude that made our new t-shirts the baddest on the block. We’re spinning Black Sabbath, Misfits, Iron Maiden, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains and more for ya… LOUDLY. Grab another drink and join us for some heavy fun!
